It’s A New year, A New Decade!
We started this year off walking into a new decade with promise and purpose. Little did we know our lives would be shifted in such a manner. We find ourselves in the middle of a pandemic and we are all attempting to navigate the situation. We are in this together is definitely a worthy statement as we need one another to survive. As we move through this circumstance I encourage you to keep your motivation. Continue to keep in mind we have made it through situations before and we will make it through this one. Navigate the situation with promise and hope; I believe as a district, city, state, and nation we will emerge victorious!
Three things to keep in mind:
Fill out the census form - this is important to ensure we have the opportunity as a state to receive the federal funding we need for the amount of people we have.
Register to vote and update your registration - this is important to ensure that as a community the state understands our desires through our voice, our vote.
Vote in the local elections in June and the presidential elections in November.
